A true high-waisted pant. Designed to fit comfortably around the hips with a little room in the waist. The pants have two pockets in the front and two in the back. This is a slightly stiffer fabric and should hug your hips. We like to call it a semi-wide leg look. We describe the piece as light weight and relaxes after wash.

This fabric is made by hand on traditional hand looms at Five P Venture, located in Erode, India. By doing this, we can supply more jobs to a wider range of artisans. It takes one person to weave a meter of fabric on a machine loom where as it takes four to weave it by hand.
At, Five P Venture, their weaving facility is Green Building certified and absolutely no energy is needed to power the building. Natural sunlight and natural air flow keeps the facility well lit and cool.
The final step in the process is to turn the fabric into a garment. Five P Venture is our only garment maker in India. All artisans meet global fair trade standards.
We are continuously looking for ways to provide more to the artisans and communities that help us make our amazing products! We currently donate 1% of all sales, not profits, to a local non-profit in Erode. Last year we supported READ.
