Gutermann is headquartered in Gutach-Breisgau, Germany. The 150-year-old thread company has built a reputation on innovation and environmental responsibility. As the only sewing thread manufacturer still producing their goods entirely in Germany, Gütermann has strictly adhered to the requirements laid down in the EU ordinance with reference to the registrations, evaluation, authorization and restriction of all chemicals used from the start.

Guterman supplies all our lyocell thread which, is made of wood-pulp from eucalyptus trees. They are OEKO-TEX, REACH and ISO certified.
