What is SMETA?

SEDEX members have agreed the Best Practice Guide, which is a set of guidelines around ethical business practices and the auditing of those practices. SMETA audits labor standards, heath and safety, subcontracting, entitlement to work and environmental practices. 

The SMETA misson is to protect human rights.

All zippers are made in Los Angeles, CA by TAT Zippers. A SMETA ethical audit was performed at the factory.
